CNA Training in Cleveland, Ohio

In Cleveland, Ohio there always seems to be a demand for CNA’s in the area. However, in Ohio you must take a state approved course first and then sit for the state exam. Also, it is not uncommon to hear nursing assistant’s referred to as STNA’s instead of CNA’s. 2.      American Red Cross of Greater Cleveland, 3747 Euclid Avenue Cleveland, OH 44115-2596, ph:             (216) 431-3010      : The Red Cross offers a 96 hours CNA training course for those who are interested in working in the nursing field. They have both daytime and evening classes available. However, currently they have not added any for the year yet so you will have to contact them for more information. 4.      Cuyahoga Community College, 2900 Community College Avenue Cleveland, OH 44115, ph: (216) 987-4000: This college has a 104 hour training course available that has been approved by the state. After you have completed the program successfully you will have the option of taking the state exam in about two to three weeks. 5.      Health Careers Center High School, 1651 East 71st Street Cleveland, OH 44103, ph: (216) 579-9984: This is one of the high schools in the area that has a STNA training course available. However, to find out whether or not this is something that is available only for high school students or the general public as well you will have to contact them.

6.      Kethley House at Benjamin Rose Place, 11900 Fairhill Rd, Suite 300 Cleveland, Ohio 44120, ph:            (216)373-1814      : This is one of the local facilities that is said to have a nursing assistant training course available. However, you will have to contact them to find out the cost as well as how often this program is offered.

7.      Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry, 1468 West 25th Street Cleveland, ph: (216) 696-2715: This is another location that is said to have a nursing assistant program available to those who are interested.

8.      Rudwick Manor Special Care Center, 17322 Euclid Avenue Cleveland, OH 44112-1210, ph: (216) 486-2280: This is one of the healthcare facilities that have been listed as having a nursing  assistant training course available. You will have to contact them to find out what it takes to qualify, the costs and how often the classes are offered.

9.      My Med Cert, 5416 Northfield Rd Maple Heights, Ohio 44137, ph:            (440)786-2378      : This is one of the locations that offer nursing assistant training classes to those who live in Cleveland and the surrounding areas. The class lasts for 76 hours and they will make sure that you know everything that you need to know in order to pass the state exam. They also include CPR certification in the $475 tuition.
