CNA Training Classes in Denver, Colorado

To become a CNA in Denver, Colorado you must first complete a training course that lasts for at least 107 hours. Not to mention the fact that this class must be approved by the state and after completing it successfully you will be expected to take the state examination. When you are just starting out in this position you can expect to earn $20,000 to $26,000 annually. You will also have benefits included as well. The classes are fairly small with 15 students in each class. After you have completed the class you will be offered to take the exam through them about three weeks after you have completed the course successfully. 2.       Ann Rose School of Nursing Arts, 7280 Irving St # 205  Westminster, CO 80030-4949, ph:             (303) 650-2994      This is one of the schools close to Denver that works with PASCO. They have been approved by the state board of nursing and they also offer the state exam at their location for the students who are interested. 3.    Still Water Institute4155 E Jewell Ave #405  Denver, CO 80222, ph: (303) 753-7577: This is another one of the schools that works with PASCO. However, before you can attend you must first pass a background check, have a TB test, and be at least 17 years old.
4.       PASCO, 6015 W. 16th Ave., Lakewood, CO 80214, ph:            (303)233-3122      :PASCO is one of the centers that help people find a CNA training program that is a good fit with them. 5.       Community College of Denver, 1111 West Colfax Avenue  Denver, CO 80218-2103, ph:             (303) 556-2600      This college has an amazing nursing aide program available to those who are interested. The class lasts for approximately seven weeks. However, financial aid will not cover it because the credit requirements are not met. You can expect to spend $95 on the state exam and $1,095 on everything else including, but not limited to, the background check and the immunizations. 6.       Community Health Institute4705 Paris Street #100 Denver, CO 80239, ph:            (303)307-8855      : This is one of the CNA training courses that is highly recommended by quite a few on the web. We were unable to find any information relating to their costs and lengths of their classes however we feel it is something that is worth looking into.
7.       Emily Griffith Technical College1250 Welton St  Denver, CO 80204-2124, ph:            (720) 423-4700      : This is one of the colleges that have a four to eight week training course that only costs $450. However, this price does not include things such as the book and the state examination. But, they have been approved by the state board of nursing so they are definitely worth checking into.
8.       Fred N Thomas Career Education Center, 2650 Eliot Street  Denver, Colorado 80211, ph:             (720) 423-6600      : This appears to be one of the high schools in the area that offers CNA training courses. However, to find out if their classes are available to the public or just the students you will have to contact them.
9.  Golden Harmony Home Health, 12075 E 45Th Ave Ste 220 Denver, Co 80239, ph:            (303) 375-9250      : This is one of the nursing facilities in the area that has training courses available in the area. However, they are not specific as to how often these classes are held or how much they cost. Contact them for more information.
10.   National American University, 1325 South Colorado Boulevard  Denver, CO 80222-3308, ph:             (303) 876-7100      : This is one of the universities that offer CNA training classes. Some of the CNA’s have raved about the learning experience that they received here.
